There are a lot of protests recently sue to thins like the ongoing war whereas expected there are often huge crowds as a result. On interesting thing I noticed was how some people would try and take advantage of this by trying to promote their businesses or causes that are completely unrelated. Imagine running a health supplement company where you jump in the middle of all these people with a sign claiming your product cures a certain disease. Or there could be a different story where someone was scammed where they want to get more attention for it. Would you think that is a good idea?
In some ways I guess it may work as people at times say any publicity is good publicity. I do wonder in these case though which specifically deal with war and death if that is a bad idea in the same realm as trying to advertise one’s services at a funeral thinking that the grieving family may need various services after.
If this was just a festival of sort with a lot of traffic then I would be more inclined to say it’s just traditional gorilla marketing. Again, for these cases due to the subject matters it may not be a wise decision, I think.
