I was invited to dine out today and there was a child attending as apparently the reason this restaurant was chosen is because the child had this card that would give him free meals. I know there are places that actually just give free kids meals in hopes to attract adults. When I saw the card I was actually surprised they had to pay for it which means it isn’t free. Apparently, the price is five dollars and with that they can get anything from the kids’ meal for free five times.
In general it’s still a great value for the kids. But what it made me think of is how if you can charge money for it would you? Like with the other restaurants I’m sure if they had a “Kid’s meal for one dollar” it will likely get similar results than just giving it for free. The prices for the adult menus was pretty high too I thought where they more than make up for the discount on the kid’s meal I would think.
But attracting the kids is sure a great strategy to lure in the parents when it comes to restaurants huh?
