I was reading online about this drama between two YouTube creators. It involved a person named Rosanna Pansino who was well known to create a lot of baking and food videos and her appearance on a reality game show of sort by a popular personality named Mr. Beast. While the video is fairly old, she recently posted a message accusing the producers of editing her out as a final three contestant and claiming they made her look bad. As well, she began to post private messages between the two for the world to see.
As you can imagine, this generated mixed opinions with one point being how it’s difficult to speak out against someone with so much power and influence as one would automatically start feeling the wrath of their fans and supporters. On the other end, some say the person is doing it for clout with accusations that she is dragging it out publicly for attention.
So the common comment seems to be whether or not if you have a business dispute like this if you should do it privately or publicly. Private would be the most sensible thing where it should be the first step. If the person flat out refuses to correct the wrong that was done then I would argue going public is a last resort of sort. Assuming she is telling the truth too, I am more inclined to say she has more to gain than lose in this instance since Mr. Beast is such a big name at this point. It’s completely different if it was say an official of some sort where I can imagine one could magically get harassed financially and legally afterwards if the person was truly unethical.
