One Store Sale Can Mean A Price Drop Elsewhere

This was an interesting find today where there was this video game called Bayonetta 3 that is normally about $79.99 which is normal for video games. However, it seemed like one store was selling it for $29.99 and you can bet it sold out quickly. You would think you missed out as when you look at some other place the price is still at the original price.

Upon looking at more stores it seems like other companies were selling it for $29.99 too where there was stock. It’s a great example where many times retailers get some kind of incentive to move items such as vendor rebates and so they all drop the prices at the same time. However, at times some places will hope to sell it at the regular price in hopes to get even more profit. But if you are like me and shop around that only results in going to the competitor.

Just more examples on how it’s good to compare different stores. In this case too, you can do it all online which should take very little time versus physically travelling to every store.
