Nvidia Increasing GeForce Now Prices in Canada And Europe

This was kind of interesting as many times companies increase its prices due to inflation in order to sustain operations. Today though I was reading how Nvidia was increasing prices for its GeForce Now service only for people in Canada and Europe apparently. US prices remained unchanged which makes you wonder if this is a legitimate need for a price increase or if they are simply testing out markets they feel may be receptive to it.

There are times I have seen digital services priced extremely high for various regions even though there shouldn’t be a need to financially. For example, like here you could say since they are based in the US then maybe it’s more expensive to service people outside of the country. But sometimes it feels like it is more due to the company feeling they can make more money so they may as well per se.

I’m actually surprised there are people who use this service actually which may be another reason for it to be more expensive as maybe they don’t do enough sales to justify it. But I am generally sceptical when I see changes like these and sometimes it’s better for perception just to have a universal price.
