Recently restrictions for how many people could gather into an indoor environment was lifted and it showed today as tons of people started to go to various indoor events. It’s almost like someone who has held off drinking alcohol for so long and so today they decide to get drunk silly. That’s what made me think on how maybe it’s better not o quickly jump back into the way you used to do things. Instead, apply things that actually made sense.
For example, if you were able to refrain for that long with no alcohol maybe keeping that trend may not be so bad health wise and financially. It reminds me of finances too such as people spending months sacrificing and saving money to pay off a debt where once they do they just overspend like before. I personally feel tough times and getting out of them is an opportunity to learn new skills to be even better afterwards. Just going back to exactly how you did things would be a bit wasteful I think.
I think for myself, during all this time video conferencing was obviously a big thing to do work and knowing certain things can work by doing it remotely it may be good to keep that habit versus unnecessary travels as an example. A common story I heard is how people dined out less and saved so much money. There are probably so much habits you learned that may be better to keep evolving.
