Today I was reading a funny story about how a lot of businesses are using AI these days to save time and that’s understandable. But it seems like many people are just copy-pasting what the AI generates. One thing that came up was how this travel guidebook people were reading had AI prompts still in it.
For example, it was explaining how one version was easier for readers to understand than the other. They didn’t even edit it out. And this has been happening a lot. Even in political topics, there are people reading out speeches where they’re actually reading out prompts. It’s a good example of how you should find ways to use technology if it saves you time and makes everything more productive.
But you can’t just be lazy and think it’s going to run on its own. Especially nowadays, you have to double-check it. If anything, I think AI is more of a supplement to your work. It can make things faster and more efficient, but it’s not a complete replacement where someone doesn’t have to pay attention to their business. So, it’s something to consider if you’re thinking of integrating AI into your business.
Don’t forget to actually check the results that are being published. Especially if you’re someone who works in the legal field. That’s been something where a lot of lawyers have relied on it and AI has simply spat out things that didn’t exist, like fake cases.
