When we want to save money, we often, at times, try to, as much as possible, use our time in place of having to spend money. But with that thought, sometimes it’s better to just spend the money versus actually sacrificing your health and well-being. Why this got me thinking is because there was this viral story recently where apparently there was a father who was lining up to get some Pokemon cards, I believe, that were launching. What he did was he left his daughter there to sleep, it seems like, to save spots in the lineup for him.
As a result, people in the lineup noticed that this child was by herself, and so they phoned the police. And as a result, I guess, the father got arrested. And it just makes you think. I know nowadays there are a lot of people who pay others to line up for them because they just can’t be bothered. Maybe the father should have done that in this case if he really wanted the item versus, in a sense, kind of using his child to do this, sacrificing their health and well-being.
You’d have to think in these cases. Is it really worth it just to save a couple of bucks? You might as well spend the money to protect everyone’s health and well-being, in my opinion. I mean, this is just one of those times where it’s just more important than just money in general, in my opinion. And to think this is all over some Pokemon cards too for an adult, which is odd in itself.
