There was an interview recently of a person who made so much money for just doing a hobby where it has reached to a point that he feels strange not having to work too hard while making more money than he knows what to do with it. Apparently, it made him think how life doesn’t seem fair with how much money he makes versus those who work tireless hours each day and don’t even come close to his wealth.
That probably sounds repulsive to a lot of people who are in the constant grind for money each day and having to manage their finances frugally. But at the same time, it is probably good to recognize inequalities of sort where at the end of the day that money is useless if there is no one else around as an example. It’s an interesting situation too since it’s not like this person specifically created say a business to be rich. Perhaps that’s why he seems grounded still too despite his wealth.
In contrast, there are those who would always just want to make more to become the wealthiest person in the world. In those cases they don’t seem to question themselves either. It makes you think, do you personally already have an ideal “wealthy” version of yourself ahead of time to know exactly what you would do with your excess amount of wealth? It could be good to think about because on the flip side of not knowing what to do with it one could just start throwing it around recklessly while being taken advantage of.
If you wanted to do good things with it at least this way you would have a plan for the unexpected wealth as well. Strange to think about in that sense since we all usually have a plan for unexpected financial debt or expenses but not for unexpected extra money. In both cases not having a plan can result in bad impulsive decisions.
