So while shopping at the grocery store with a few people today they decided to buy a bag of rice which wasn’t too bad of deal as you could get a large bag for about twenty five dollars. Once they finished shopping what they wanted at this supermarket we went across to another one not too far to get some other things. The funny thing was at this place they notice there was another brand of rice that was even cheaper at twenty two dollars and they were kind of saying that they preferred to buy that. They didn’t bother exchanging it though.
In like these cases it just reinforces why for myself I usually try and visit all the places that I intend to shop from first before actually making my rounds to buy things. For this example it was in a mall where everything is perfectly within walking distance. You just never know what the sudden deals that can appear where at the same time people are often too lazy to return purchased items for a better deal. So it’s better to get it right the first time.
It doesn’t really take up too much more time either I find. More often I find too you end up saving money or getting the better item for your dollar this way. I have never been too into the habit of buying something only to drag it around with you as you hope to find extra deals. To me it makes more sense to do all your research first and then go on your shopping splurge.
