This is one of the oddest promotions I have ever seen. Apparently if you bought a Samsung Galaxy S23 or any variants like the Ultra phone the company is offering you $100 in free credit to spend on an app from its Galaxy App store. That’s a lot of free money. You can’t use it to buy an app that has an upfront fee but rather it seems like it is designed to act as a payment for in app purchases. For example, buying credits for a video game. Still great though, right?
In reading the terms and conditions even further, you can only make one in app purchase with this credit and the rest of your credit will be forfeited after this one purchase. So if you find something you want for say $20, then using your $100 credit to purchase that means the company will simply take back the $80 credit that you have left. As stated on its terms, it says “Your $100 Galaxy Store Coupon can only be used for a single in-app purchase transaction within the Samsung Galaxy Store games; any remaining amount will not be exchanged for cash and will automatically be forfeited”
The only thing I could really find was in the game Pokémon Go you could buy coins for a little over $50. The next tier is almost $130 which would be over the credit and I didn’t exactly want to spend money. So if I go for that then I will have to waive some credits. Again, it’s kind of a peculiar offer in the way it is structured. I thought I could at first maybe do an in app purchase for something like Uber credit, but that didn’t work. I guess it’s nice free money though even if it is strange.
