Nowadays when people start to establish an online presence, they immediately think of opening up an account on every large social media site as not doing so can be a massive loss in potential audience reach for one’s business offerings. What got me think is how I was reading about some artists who appear to be doing very well when you look at one site. But on others they don’t seem to have the same reach. It’s deceptive at first as for some people you see all these big companies collaborating with them while emphasizing how big they are. But when you go to specific sites it seems like they have virtually no reach.
In contrast, for the specific site they do focus one they have quite a big following which makes more sense as to why they are getting all these opportunities. That’s a great example I thought on how you don’t have to try and be everywhere to achieve your desired goals as just focusing on specific platforms that best cater to your audience can be just as good.
Another way to do it is to simply use applications that auto post to every platform with the same content. Many times though the audience can be so different where not publishing items that best suits the audience’s specific taste and attention span can end up making things worst. But either way, focusing on one with attentive care is probably better than trying to use everything hastily.
