Today I attended a photography event a I was interested in learning more on how to maximize the quality of my smartphone with all of the premium features that it has to take the best photo for things such as wildlife. I didn’t expect too much from the event with what was advertised as it said it was a workshop where people would meet at the company’s store in a mall. My expectation was that it was simply someone e talking with a slideshow while maybe taking pictures as a demonstration.
However, when I arrived I was surprised to see that they actually gave me a bag of goodies at first which had things like a small tripod and a ring light for the smartphone. Unexpected. As well, the organizer was telling us how we will all be transported to a location to capture pictures of a garden with birds. Even the other attendees commented how this was a pleasant surprise. Now why this was interesting too is that the attendance was well below the maximum capacity. They had room for about sixteen people each session and in mine there were about seven.
This just came down to the fact that non of the literature that talked about the event expressed that people would actually go on a free mini trip o f sort. So that probably caused more people to just pass on it. I guarantee if they explicitly mentioned that you would get free stuff and all too that the spots would have filled up. Advertising is just as important that holding the event itself huh? To think just those minor details can be such a big difference in attracting people.
