This sounded like an interesting scandal of sort where there was a person that created a show online where for the most part it got him into a financially successful lifestyle which is admirable. So for the most part he continued at it and even eventually decided to upload more frequently years later. This is when people noticed something was off. For those who consumed their content frequently they realized it was the same recycled videos he created in the past. Apparently, what he did was repackaged the video with a different title and video cover where new people would have no clue it was old.
Even though a lot of people are calling it out, the owner doesn’t seem to care as he is making money. That’s pretty sneaky. Imagine a company taking say last year’s phone model and just putting it in a new 2026 box. People would assume it’s new when really it isn’t as many people just want to buy something that just came out as you would assume it would last longer tech wise.
I don’t know why anyone would do this as the short-term gain isn’t worth how much you would have to pay to repair the bad reputation afterwards. Unless you were about to quit and are just trying to suck every last penny out of people.
