Jumping On Meta Threads or Not

There have been a lot of talk recently of Meta’s Twitter competitor called Threads which apparently is getting a lot of momentum at the moment when it comes to media coverage. This has also created some controversy such as Twitter apparently allegedly that Meta stole it’s intellectual properties through former employees or some saying that it comes down to whether or not the platform censors certain groups of people. But as a business, should you just sign up?

In many ways I suppose it can be a good thing just to get an account in case it ends up going big. Is there a drawback? Apparently, it is heavily tied to one’s Instagram account as it will use your same username and if you decide to say delete your Threads account your Instagram will be deleted as well. Tat’s kind of odd in many ways. Not sure if that is a big factor for people. I would imagine a lot of people actually just auto post to multiple platforms as well through various software applications.

Although, one benefit that is universally usually in these times is jumping in now means you could take advantage of the attention while it’s hot. For some that could be a big difference in getting their business known.
