Today I was hearing a lot of people who had phone service disconnections which included buzzers in condos not working. Apparently, the network was down due to a telecom outage which reminds me of the story when Rogers service went down. That affected so many services such as accessing bank services as well. So with many people having no home phone service, the natural response would e to go to your back up such as a cell phone right?
I know a person who subscribed to a cheap cell phone plan just for emergency purposes. In this case though, it was completely useless as the network that was being used for the phone happened to be the same one that was having outages everywhere. Imagine spending all that money on having backup solutions just to mot work during the moments where you intended for it to be used.
I guess that’s why you should consider backup services from different providers just in case of situations like these huh?
