When it comes to doing things like taxes it’s quite common for people to outsource these tasks as number crunching and maximizing benefits isn’t something a lot of people enjoy. But this got me thinking as I was reading a lot on how there are people who make millions of dollars where at the same time they outsource all of their finances to say an accountant. These are young adults too that literally have no clue about their overall financial situation as all they know is they are earning a lot and if they don’t have to worry about money then it’s all good.
This generate stories on how their accountants or say agents were actually ripping them off such as claiming expenses that directly benefit say the companies helping the person versus what is actually in their best interest. But because they have been so offhand with their money they wouldn’t know. That reminds me how early on you should try to do everything yourself to at least get a good grasp on how to manage your money while learning key warning signs if something doesn’t seem right.
Otherwise it’s like people who decide to say open up a restaurant with literally zero experience in everyway to the point where they can be taken advantage of in every department as they don’t know any better.
