I was looing to buy some bubble wrap recently as I have to ship some items out. This is one of those times where I don’t exactly buy the item on a regular basis and so I rely heavily on user reviews or simply looking at who gives the best value for the dollar. In some cases It sounded like some companies gave double the amount of product compared to others which would have made it a no-brainer purchase. But reading the reviews people mentioned how the one that offered more actually had really thin bubble protection for each sheet to the point where you would have to double wrap the item to get good protection.
This is versus the other ones which seemed like it had regular or large sized bubbles that would only require one wrap to cover the item. So, in the end it is kind of the same thing value wise. I guess you could argue the one with thinner bubbles could be more useful if you have a lot of small items. But I guarantee if there were no user reviews most people wouldn’t even consider that actor to determine of it is a good purchase or not.
There isn’t exactly any kind of requirement where companies have to tell you how big or thin they are as well versus just giving accurate measurement specs on how many rolls you get as an example. Not all products are made the same for a true dollar to dollar comparison.
