There was this video going around today where it looked like at some McDonald around the area someone got really upset and started to damage the property. From what I read, the person got upset thinking he wasn’t provided the right change for what he paid. I am assuming the person is homeless based on the comments which would explain why the person was very agitated over that. But the other thing that made me think is how some people watched this and expressed that it’s just a normal thing you deal with when working at these jobs to the point where if you don’t like to encounter it then don’t work there.
It’s almost like it is standardized as if you are working at a job that specifically requires you to do physically demanding and dangerous tasks. In those cases you are usually paid more to make up for that fact. But for these service-based jobs many people accept it. Doesn’t seem right huh? Granted many people who do these jobs are just starting out and just want to do anything to earn some money. But would you just consider this a normal climbing up the ranks type of initiation per se?
Because there will definitely be a lot of applicants looking for job opportunities usually where encountering the occasional crazy person could seem worth it. You would never expect that in an office job at minimum wage though that’s for sure.
