I was talking to a person today who was retired and a conversation came up about how people nowadays earn money to make a living. I was saying things like how there are people who literally play video games all day and earn six figure incomes a year or tournaments such as drone racing. He couldn’t believe it as he thought I was making it up. Funny enough a person that he actually knew did one of these things and actually earned five figured from doing it. He was just shocked.
It’s kind of interesting how there are so many opportunities out there to earn an income if you only allow yourself to be open minded to learn about those opportunities. I don’t think there really is anything that you can’t earn an income from as there always seems to be a niche of some sort for people to fill in.
In many ways you just have to have the courage to actually try things that can be in a sense risky as they say. Otherwise you will always be playing catch up to others who got a head start. Even if I have no interest in a particular field I find just learning how others earn a living to be pretty inspirational at times to give me ideas and ultimately less excuses not to do something.
