Today I unfortunately lots my sunglasses during a hike which means I will have to buy a new pair. These things can get expensive too for the higher quality ones. But since I need one as I am outdoors a lot it got me thinking financially. Would you just try and get cheap low quality temporary replacements for the time being or just go all out and get a new one?
For myself I usually have one key point when it comes to buying new things in these types of situations where if I have to spend unexpected money then I should try and find a way to earn more too. I find it usually gives me time in researching what the best purchase for me would be while at the same time making sure I don’t have a bad habit of using up my money just because it is there in a sense.
But in this case it is a little different as it is something I actually use pretty much every day. So in that sense I am inclined to get a cheap temporary replacement. I have actually owned the same pair for years too and figured if I need a replacement you may as well get something that has some more modern day tech in it as well. With that it requires time and research as opposed to just spending money on what I had before.
