I was reading some news today about the original founder of the site Techcrunch decided that it was best for him to now part ways with the site that he founded for other endeavours. As usual, you see a lot of comments from people talking about how because the founder left the organization is now going to slowly disappear as well.
I would usually probably only get really concerned about that if the organization or theme specifically revolved around one person. Granted bringing in new people may not carry the same passion or motivation as the original team had to aid in an organizations continued growth and success. Another way to look at it though is that if the original founders just don’t have the time or passion to commit to activities like before then the future can be brighter with different people on board.
