Well, it was only a matter of time until someone tried this as apparently there was this news bit from Andon Labs where they actually used an AI to help manage an Andon Market store in San Fransico where it ultimately ended firing an employee due to repeatedly being late for work. The person would have been fired sooner apparently but with limitations of memory it seemed like the AI forgot to reference the employee handbook I guess you can say.
There were talks on how humans usually take too much time in deciding if someone should be fired where in this case the AI made the recommendation fairly quickly. It makes you wonder, will you do this for any of your businesses? The AI was not only monitoring employee conduct but also handling a lot of the administrative work too apparently as the real humans worked on all the physical tasks. Kind of scary how fast it is becoming.
At this rate, there will be stores that are 100% automated by robots.
