I’ve been wanting to do this for the journey and will slowly do so as I am currently tinkering with different tools and vendors that I think will be perfect. As you may have noticed, I currently have contextual advertising in place mainly from Google at this point, which will be replaced with the Forbes ads, where income is generated from displaying advertisements.

Affiliate sales marketing revolves around generating a purchase or subscription for a particular vendor who then provides you with a commission for doing so. Usually when a site becomes more popular, affiliate sales are often a better source of revenue. Of course, a key factor is to find programs and offers that your audience would find beneficial.

As a result, I will also label income derived from this as “Affiliate Sales” during my progress updates which should provide some interesting analysis.
