Today I noticed at a store that it seemed to have so many large quantity deals such as people buying ten boxes of cereal or say those small boxes of rice products. Essentially, on the price tag it listed things such as “Buy 10 for $20” type of deal. My friend was then telling me that in her state there is actually a law/requirement where if the product is listed as a sale in that way that you don’t actually have to buy the full quntity listed to get the sale discount. Like in that case, you could literally just buy each item for $2 instead.
However, it seems like most people didn’t even know that and so they ended up buying the amount suggested on the sales tag. Interesting bit to know if you want to save money. Of course, I’m sure the rules and regulations are different for each state and so you would need to do a little research.
