A lot of people often express how if they ever made it big in their business they can then relax and do things casually as they technically don’t need to worry about money as much similar to someone that won the lottery. This got me thinking as today a person was telling me how they found success it seems for something they have been working on and they don’t want to just sit on this success. Therefore, he worked extra hard to analyze what was working in hopes to continue the success.
That’s great as the fame will eventually disappear. But this was also true where usually when you are in a position of experiencing huge success you will also have to work even harder to stay there. It’s almost the complete opposite of what people believe on the outside as if you then become some rich CEO that just answers the phone once a day as the business just magically grows and maintains itself.
Be prepared to work more I would say especially if you are still early in your growth. In this case too, the person still has years to go and will have plenty of time to relax later if they focus their energy in buildings things with momentum going for them versus trying to work extra hard without it. You should have that fire in you too I think. Otherwise, you may be in the wrong business per se.
