Winning Contracts By Responding First

The other day I was fascinated as a person recently got into a specific industry where he decided to run his operations through an existing business. Essentially that business will handle all the legal resources and support where he simply needs to find and process customers for his business. There were actually plenty of choice to go with and so it made me ask why he chose to partner up with the company that he did. The answer was kind of dull and straight forward. Essentially, out of everyone he asked this company was the first to actually respond and so he went with them.

From what I see it was a very good acquirement for that company too as the person had a ton of people ready to use the company’s services. To think in that case all the company had to do was reply promptly to an inquiry as opposed to needing to do anything extraordinary to stand out from the competition. Often times too people would go to a competitor out of spite that they didn’t get any kind of response from the places they contacted first as well.

If anything I think at minimum you should at least have some kind of auto generated response to tell people that you have received their request. Otherwise it’s almost like people just seeing a business closed sign when they are deciding where to shop.
