I was telling a person yesterday that I saw a very good price for a laser printer as he was in the market for one. However, one drawback was that he was spending enough money on other things already where it seemed like he would be going a bit overboard. His comment was interesting as he didn’t sweat it too much and just mentioned that there will always be other sales.
I guess that is true enough for the most part where you can usually find new sales for a particular item as time goes on. So in that sense you don’t necessarily need to have a mentality where you either buy it now or you won’t ever see a deal like that again. For myself it’s usually only items that are so low that it looks like a price error where I would take the extra initiative to purchase it as items like that you can usually turn a profit by selling it at worst.
Most places usually offer a 14 to 30 day return policy too for a lot of items. There are many times where I have purchased items that looked like a great deal. Knowing I have the time-frame to return it too prevents me from potentially losing out on a very good deal. At the same time, if it turns out it’s just better to get my money back for whatever reason the option is there.
