Weighing By The Pound Grocery Yourself

There was a quick preview about a report that will be shown about how those machine scanners at the checkout terminals that are suppose to give you an accurate reading as to how much groceries you bought by the pound are inaccurate most of the time. If you think about it, that could cost one hundreds or thousands of dollars a year due to paying for something that you didn’t really get.

I know for myself too I usually don’t take the time to weigh products myself while also doing the calculation in order to make sure the end total is accurate. Like most I am usually very trusting that the machine will give accurate numbers in these cases. Will be interesting to see how inaccurate they can be though.

I can imagine someone inventing a portable weight calculator to bring to the supermarkets after this.
