Tomorrow should technically be the last day of vaccine passports when it comes to places such as restaurants. Because of this, many businesses are expecting a surge of customers as this would kind of make things similar to the way it was before all these measures were put in place. Apparently as well, businesses can still opt to check for vaccinations apparently and I am not sure how that would work in general just from a privacy point of view if the mandates are removed.
I know for some restaurants they even implemented seating based on the vaccination status of an individual. I am not sure how long that would last. Imagine if we did that before for other items such as whether or not someone had received the flu shot. That will be a decision businesses will need to make as well on whether or not they wish to simply remain neutral according to the current health guidelines.
Just from observations, giving people choice seems to have been working better for businesses such as with the masks where if people wish to wear one then they can. I haven’t seen any fights break out yet because of this as an example.
