Using A Product That Still Looks Visibly Okay

large business and finance

For some of my electronic devices one of them uses this rather large lithium battery where people are usually told that these things can last about three hundred charges or so until you should replace it. That’s the general lifespan they say for this one and using it even longer can be dangerous. The funny thing is I take care of the battery really well and I am well over 550 charges at the moment. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with it either. But regardless would you retire this and just spend like one hundred dollars to get a new one?

Usually for items that I have very little knowledge of I probably would just replace it if it was a safety matter. If it’s simply about degrading quality where everything is still functional for your needs I would probably use it until it is broken as an example. Because sometimes these suggestions can simply be a company wanting you to buy more stuff.

Of course you have to use discretion as many times items can look perfectly fine on the outside but the inside could be ready to burst any minute. Always good to get an opinion from someone who would know a lot about your item of course that you trust before spending money that you may not have to.
