Well, this sure changed a lot of market conditions today as apparently the US is ceasing trade talks with Canada due to the implementation of a digital services tax on large US companies. Everything including the Canadian dollar went down and it makes you wonder again if you should immediately do anything or simply go on with business as usual.
One argument is this is mostly just a way to force negotiation which may very well be the case as a reason not to do anything irrationally. Even before it sounded like tariffs and all kept getting postponed to the point where it seems like no one wants to be the aggressor in actually implementing them as they just want a neutral deal of sort.
For myself, it’s the same as it’s a matter of just treating each day as business as usual until I see everything is actually confirmed to have gone through.
