Today my phone just suddenly decided to stop working and you bet it created chaos as I scrambled to find out what was wrong. At first I brought it to a shop and they thought they knew the answer where it was a broken cable conduction. However, after fixing that the phone would struggle to boot to the point where they aren’t sure and had to leave it overnight. Needing a phone, I had to actually go buy a new one.
That’s not all as this meant all my data and captures for the day were lost for now. I had contact and data backup, but it was from awhile ago. These phones are pretty much like our computers where having it go down is like losing a hard drive on your computer. The common solution is to constantly backup all your data to the cloud of course where in this case you can easily recover it with a connection. But it is a little unsecure to place sensitive info.
I guess now I technically have a small backup phone. But it’s not like I intend to carry two phones with me each day. I guess like they say, they don’t make then like they used to huh?
