Supposed To Be In Season But Still Expensive

Today a person was telling me how since it is the summer time that usually means various fruits and vegetables are now in season. Therefore, the prices should reflect that as well. However, when she tried to go shopping for things like blueberries she found that the prices were extremely high to the point that she felt it was a better value to just buy pre-frozen ones.

I have often found that the deals don’t really come pouring in until the mid season or so as everyone is still busy stocking up and the demand is greater at first. It’s when everyone gets their supply and starts to settle down where you begin to see the price wars. If you really want the deals right away, you could always grab a group of people, go to a farm and start picking the stuff yourself.
