With so many new smartphones announced it’s been interesting just reading about the new products. Everything from folding screen phones and ones with gigantic battery packs. One common sight for the new phones is how people can buy various versions that have different amounts of internal storage space. With that in mind it is so shocking in many ways to see how expensive going for the higher storage capacity can be. For example, going from a 128MB of storage to 512MB can be about a $360 increase.
I was just thinking for many phones too you can easily upgrade the storage with a micro SD card instead which would be way cheaper. That’s what I did with my current phone. While internal storage is probably more convenient it makes you wonder if it is worth that much of a premium. Now granted a lot of the higher end phones with more storage has more features as well at times. But that is one heck of an increase.
You could literally buy an extra phone of some with that price difference too. I find comparisons like that is when I usually stop and think if it is worth it. The same goes true with almost anything even like if you were dining out. Example, if with prices if you just compare fast food prices with each other then you are likely not going to think much about the cost difference if one plate is say three dollars more than the other. But when you think how much groceries you can get at the supermarket with that things may change.
Does the huge price difference for internal phone storage make you simply go for the external option that I way cheaper?
