While brainstorming with another person today he was trying to think of ways to duplicate the success of those that have already made it in an area that he is interested in. With this brought up topics such as how he needs to be like them, have the same stuff, portray the same style of identity, etc. When you really look back at how most of those people started though it appeared to me that one reason they got to where they were was because people related to them in away where it felt like that guy/girl was one of them. It wasn’t until after these success that they started to say glamor up.
I then even started to joke that since he was so concerned with things like looking a certain way that ironically if he did what he did and looked like a mess similar to what a large portion of the population does when they are at home and not feeling the need to impress others that ironically even that in itself can work for him as long as he has the right attitude. He was laughing at first but then kind of agreed as he could see it working too. Sometimes just being like the everyday person is all you need to do I say as too often we think you have to be over the top in a sensational way to get the things that you want.
