When it comes to our personal lives there are plenty of times where when it comes to celebrating events like a birthday people would often have large parties on say the weekends if the person’s actual birthday is on a weekday. It can make more sense for like a child where they need to go to school on the weekdays and so weekends is when everyone would be free and available.
This made me think as recently I was reading about a business that intended to run an event on November the 11th of this month. Over here that is Remembrance Day where people will be spending time remembering the fallen who fought for their country’s freedom. So as you can imagine that is kind of a bad time to hold some kind of business event.
It didn’t seem like the business cared too much. Like there I think it would have been better to change it to a different date. Even if it is for like an anniversary sale of sort you could even make it a multi-day event to maximize your reach and potential. Having your events right on the same day for a big unrelated event in many ways increases the odds of getting no results for your efforts I feel.
