There are a lot of stories here recently on companies deciding to stop carrying Russian related products such as vodka where the rationale is if you buy their products then you are in s sense funding them to continue with the war against Ukraine or other future incidents. Some people decided to film their actions such as bar owners pouring Vodka down the drain that could have made them a lot of money.
It almost makes you wonder if it is too early to just say ban everything from a certain country as many times the actions are a result of a person in charge versus the people themselves. Just as example, if all of a sudden Canada went to war with China would it be appropriate to then ban literally everything that is remotely related to China such as East Asian restaurants?
Of course this can be in many ways one of those situations where if businesses don’t immediately take a side per se then they will lose either way. Is it even possible to stay neutral when something this big happens?
