For the current billing I received for my cell phone bill, during the past 30 days I have been extremely busy with calls happening everywhere I go. According to my bill, I used about 1205 minutes which is insane compared to my normal usage.
As a result, I went a little over my plan usage and I noticed something extremely funny. For every additional minute, the company billed it at 33 cents a minute. However, when it comes to long distance calls, my plan clearly states that it charges 25 cents a minute. That just seemed so strange to me.
I guess it is safe to say that billing in this industry is not really based too much on actual cost like a tangible product.
