I was thinking recently of getting a better camera lens in order to take better picture and videos for all those special occasions like today and how it is Father’s day. While I have like a DSLR, I am not a professional of course and only have basic knowledge of the field. Upon doing some research, it seemed like everyone was recommending this lens called the Sigma Art 10-35MM F1.8 HSM Lens. While that is all fine and dandy, apparently the retail price of this thing is like $950.
I always find these scenarios kind of tricky as I don’t want something cheap where I am going to have to end up buying more items where I may as well have just bought the higher quality item as an example. At the same time, the price range of this thing makes me wonder if it is way beyond me where I wouldn’t be able to take full advantage of it.
At this point I am inclined to simply focus on that high priced item and simply think of ways to offset the cost such as finding an actual professional use for it where I would make some income out of it. Just buying it because I can is the definite no-no of course.
