Well it looks like the elections in the US is going to turn into one long fight with accusations of fraud as an example. But as you would expect there are tons of people glued on and are passionate in seeing their candidates win. Some even worry that if a specific candidate loses then that could mean the end for whatever industry it is that they are in.
Then it got me thinking as there are some who simply voted and are just continuing business as normal. It’s almost like to them it doesn’t matter who wins as people will still need whatever product and service it is that they are offering. That’s not a bad position or mindset to be in I suppose. I remember reading stories in the last US election on how some people were so distraught over the results that they literally had to take time off, had companies provide psychological counseling, etc. Is it possible to get too involved with political topics in relation to your work and business?
I was always told this is one topic that you can’t ever really win as you will always be making someone mad. So with that in mind would you ever just tune out once you do your part and vote for the sake of running your business?
