Opening For Very Little Business or Closing Down

It’s no surprise that restaurants are probably one of the hardest hit business during these times due to all the restrictions in place. First it was a complete shutdown to being able to open with limited capacity. Now in this area you pretty much have to have things like a patio as only outdoor options seemed to be legal in terms of having any kind of dine in and seated customers. This pretty much killed a lot of business who simply don’t have the ability to create an outdoor setup.

That’s why this picture online sure was intriguing. As you can see it looks like a restaurant literally just took a regular table they would normally have indoors and places them outside. They obviously can’t fit too much outside as well and it makes you wonder how many people they can realistically serve a day that way. Does it bring in a profit still?

But that makes you think, in this case let’s say you will only serve about ten customers for the day. Would you still open it like this? Or would you simply close the business until hopefully things return to normal? It kind of makes you want to support the business too just for the effort huh?
