I was with a person who was looking to hire a home improvement type of business to help spruce up a house. The interesting thing was that the company he was interested in consisted of a group of friends it seemed and it wasn’t a typical business setup. Basically, each person specialized in a different category and each person would use their home address as an office location of sort for the business.
The funny thing I thought was how this actually made the person believe that it was a large business since there were so many offices, so to speak. I guess that is why sometimes small businesses use virtual office addresses as in many ways it is to accomplish that same goal of giving people the perception of a large established company to help boost customer confidence.
This specific example was definitely interesting though.
