I saw something interesting today which isn’t actually the first time I saw this. There was a family that had one child and in his bedroom he sure had a big bed mattress. Thing was, there literally was no bed frame as it was just a huge mattress tucked into the corner. For the most part it seemed perfectly fine too. They even explained how it saved them a lot of money this way.
While I guess you can argue without anything like a frame you can’t put say an alarm clock on the bed, to me it didn’t seem to be a big deal for them as those things were simply placed on like the room desks. Interesting example I thought of not buying a traditional complete set for an item when one doesn’t really need it to save money.
