One thing I was debating before the new years was whether or not I wanted to buy some items for the sake of the yearly tax credit even if it meant buying a non sale item. After thinking about it, I figured that tax credit or not I would actually save more money in the end if I simply waited for those products to drop to a very low price.
It’s easy to get way too impulsive in scenario is like that where just the thought of getting free money back sounds like such a great deal. But for myself I view it like getting cashback options from making purchases with your credit card. It’s nice to get money back, but the amount you spend to get that isn’t exactly cheap usually.
