Making More Friends Than Enemies Within Your Community

There was an interesting situation I saw where of all things it was kind of silly as it dealt with a video game that people played where players on different teams would fight each other for territory. In doing so they get daily rewards where the catch is you can only get so much in a day where afterwards there is no point in fighting for it until the next day.

That was the interesting part as there was a scenario where a person was really keen in trying to keep a place all by himself all day. He would actually continuously attack people on the opposing side while even trying to hog all the spaces for himself which meant even people within his team per se couldn’t get anything. As you can imagine this person was like a lone wolf.

In contrast you could see other people in the community actually working together and sharing. Despite being on different teams people recognize there is no pint in keeping everything to themselves all day and so they actually just rotate with each other. Try to imagine that in running a business too where you are either this one guy that is literally trying to bankrupt everyone versus being a part of the community where everyone gets what they need each day without much hassle.

It’s not that simple in real life of course but it should make you think on whether or not you are approaching things too aggressively when being more cooperate could achieve the same desired results with less stress.
