I had an interesting observation the other day while seeing how the launch of that Sweat Economy was doing. It seemed like they experienced a lot of errors to the point where they actually had to delay the launch. This generated a lot of comments of people who believe the whole thing is a scam and tat they are probably running away with everyone’s money. But they did post frequent updates on platforms such as Discord.
I would say not as many people use that and as a result to everyone else they see the situation as simply a business that is saying nothing. It was actually regular users it seems who would then copy and paste the announcements to let people know what was going on. It showed how it’s definitely wiser to blast your messages in as many accessible platforms as possible since not everyone may be using the one you are specifically active on.
I’m surprised here that they didn’t just update the information on their official sites or within the app. At the same time, it sort of demonstrates too where if you can build a community of sort they can act as your press release of sort as well in more places.
