So we all heard of stories of businesses requiring customers to wear face masks during these times or they won’t be allowed into the stores. But how about forcing your workers and contractors to wear a face mask? Apparently Lyft is doing just that where in a recent press release it was mentioned that passengers and drivers are asked to wear a face mask.
They have a whole new list of agreements that people must abide by in order to use the service.
One interesting thing about this is how I read a recent story where a car driver fainted while driving due to the lack of oxygen as a result of wearing a mask for too long. Apparently these masks weren’t meant to be worn for extremely long periods of time. But with the pandemic I suppose most people wouldn’t realize that since we don’t exactly hear a lot of warnings about it in the news.
It makes you think if immediately implementing these kind of procedures in every type of setting is a wise thing to so. It will sound great for business PR but if it truly isn’t the safest way to do it in all aspects it might be better to find another way.
