A person gave me an interesting comment today as I was talking about my efforts in finding a suitable fit for one of my ambitions where to this date that search hasn’t panned out yet. Regardless of that I still kept myself busy as usual and being pro-active where if I happen to meet the right people in the meantime then the better it would be.
This then generated a reaction from the person on how I am so super patient to be able to wait this long. I was at first thinking it’s not like I sit there torturing myself in waiting for something to come like an announcement on a scheduled day. For me it’s just about staying active and tying to mold your own future in many ways where if the extra support comes then the better.
It kind of reminds me when people always expect the one magic solution to give them everything they want. Like there I can imagine how stressful it can be when you always anticipate this one thing being your big break of sort. Instead I think it is better to just keep working where eventually you will at least build something as opposed to waiting. Would that really be more about having an uncanny amount of patience or just being pro-active?
