I don’t think most people attempt a challenge or venture with the idea that they are likely to lose as who in their right mind would want to say lose time and money correct? But apparently there are many that use this strategy to benefit themselves in a way where if they lose they and walk away with fame of sort in attempting to try something crazy and if they win it would ne even better. One crazy example I saw was with what appeared to be fighting tournament where usually these matches are separated by weight as an example. Here though you had people who were literally half the size of their opponent trying to subdue the other in what seems impossible.
In so many of the scenarios though the losers still came out as a winner in the sense of people would giving them admiration and support for even attempting such a thing which in turn made people more interested in whatever commercial venture they were a part of. They likely wouldn’t have got as much attention even if they won against someone that actually matched up with them physically.
It makes you wonder if that is actually a logical route to go with if you are just starting out and have nothing really to lose per se as it definitely checks one of the points off in terms of doing something that stands out.
